Endometriosis Symptoms

Endometriosis is a weakening gynecological medical condition prevalent in female population. In this condition the endometrial cell that flourish and appear commonly on ovaries or on regions located outside uterine cavity. These cells are largely influenced by hormonal changes and respond in a similar fashion as that of the cells located inside uterus. The symptoms of endometriosis would worsen with menstrual cycle. This condition generally occurs during reproductive years and it would occur in 5% - 10% women across the world. In addition the symptoms would depend on active site of endometriosis.

In this condition a women can easily find out the signs of disease especially in early stages, as there will be bodily changes occurring during menstrual cycle. The pain during menstrual cycles would gradually increase and becomes worse with passage of time. As a result the general health of women’s starts declining and it would have an adverse effect on her reproductive system.
 
On the other hand there are several instances where women’s have endometriosis but they don’t any symptoms. Later when they are diagnosed for surgery or other disease, then only the condition would be found. This gynecological condition doesn’t follow any specific pattern and hence it is very difficult to diagnose the condition even by experienced doctors. Some of Endometriosis symptoms mimic other health issues like ectopic pregnancy, appendicitis, ovarian cysts, colon cancer, pelvic inflammatory diseases, bowel syndrome, fibroid tumors and ovarian cancer.

  • Headaches
  • Depression
  • Susceptibility to allergies and infection
  • Low grade fever
  • Anxiety
  • Hypoglycemia
In later stage of Endometriosis, the women’s may develop adhesions in pelvic cavity. These adhesions are caused due to untreated cysts and they would glue together the pelvic organs. The adhesion might seriously interfere with normal functioning of pelvic organs, causes obstructions in bowel, urinary problems, digestive problem and infertility. When these adhesions are drawn apart, then women’s would feel severe pains and difficulty in movement.
 
The endometriosis situation would impair the immune system of women and leads to other health problems. As a result of surveys and medical studies conducted on women’s suffering from endometriosis, it’s evident that they are susceptible to major health risks including ME Hypothyroidism, continuous fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. No two women’s would have the similar endometriosis symptoms.
 
According to medical findings and surveys conducted across the world, indicates that women’s suffering from endometriosis is highly susceptible for other diseases. Additionally the family members are also prone to develop some related disease. In some of the rare cases the endometriosis pain would stop women’s from taking part in daily activities. So it is better advised for women’s to consult the doctor, when they feel the symptoms of endometriosis. Today there are numerous options available for women to get cured from this gynecological condition through medications or surgical process. By undergoing the endometriosis treatments a women can be relieved from severe pain during period and enhance her fertility rate.
