Genital Warts

A genital wart is another example of a sexually transmitted disease that is caused by the human papilloma virus. It is asymptomatic which means that it does not have externally visible symptoms. It can occur both in men and women. In men, it can show signs of discoloration in the genitals.

Just like any other sexually transmitted diseases, it can be cured by certain antibiotics and vaccination. Since it is caused by the human papilloma virus; it can be a definite sign that you might be susceptible to cervical cancer as well. This is why you have to have yourself checked as soon as you discover that you have genital warts.
