Home Remedy for Joint Pains

Joint pains are medically referred to as arthralgia. It is a very discomforting disease causing severe pain in the joints which causes obstruction in the routine work. It can be felt at one or more joints of the body. It generally affects more than it does the young people, though young people are also not completely aloof of the disease. Especially people in the field of sports are more prone to get affected by the disease due to injuries. The most likely parts to get affected are the knees, ankle, neck and back. It affects almost every one at some point of life especially older people who are obese.


The condition can be more aggravating in case of some people than in case of others. It affects the ability to perform the routine task efficiently and hence it can be very frustrating. In the severe case, the person is unable to get up from the bed and is completely dependent on other people. There are several causes including injuries at the joints. There are several home remedies which can serve as an effective natural cure against joint pains without causing side effects.

Home Remedy for Treatment of Joint Pains


1. Taking a warm bath is very helpful in getting relief from joint pains. It helps in relaxing the muscles.


2. Hot and cold fomentations help in relieving join pain to a considerable extent.


3. Fry some garlic cloves in butter and eat them regularly to get relief from joint pains as it has anti inflammatory properties that help in curing joint pain.


4. Papaya is very good at treating pain at joints. Drinking tea made up of seeds of papaya regularly six to seven times in a day is a wonderful home remedy for treating joint pains. This remedy should be continued for two to three weeks.


5. Turmeric is yet another herb that is very beneficial in the treatment of pain at joints. Take a pinch of turmeric powder and mix it in a glass of warm milk. Drink this milk to get quick relief from joint pains.


6. Mix some roasted gram flour with butter to prepare dough. Make chapaties out of this dough. It is also a good remedy for curing joint pains effectively.


7. Carrot helps to strengthen the ligaments. The juice of carrot should be taken to get relief from pain of joints. In place of that you can also opt for eating carrot directly.



8. Consumption of bananas regularly with one large teaspoon of a mixture of carrot juice and lemon juice is an effective natural home remedy for Joint Pain.


9. Make sure to include in the diet nutritious foods like carrots, lemons, , lettuce, cucumber, mushrooms, onions and fruits, vegetables, whole grains and oils rich in omega-3 fatty acids.


10. Prepare tea with papaya seeds 6 to 7 times a day for 2 to 3 weeks. This is a good home remedy for joint pain.


11. Before going to sleep at night, take some vinegar and rub the aching joints with it. It is very easy and fruitful remedy for treating joint pains.


12. Proper intake of calcium and Iron is recommended for keeping the joints strong.


13. A mixture of apple cedar vinegar and honey should be mixed with water and taken daily.


14. A mixture of olive oil and camphor oil is good for massaging the painful areas. Sunflower oil is also helpful in reducing the pain.


15. Another combination of oils is warm sesame oil and almond oil is good for relieving pain.


16. Make porridge with molasses, clarified butter and two teaspoons of winter cherry and drink it on empty stomach daily for fifteen days.


17. Rub warm vinegar on the painful areas to get rid of pain.


18. Acupuncture and Acupressure are also helpful in treating join pain.
