The Maker’s Diet is also called the Maker Diet. This diet plan encourages dieters to embark upon a diet plan that addresses those habits that lead to a healthy mind, body and soul. Though the Maker diet does not place special emphasis on weight loss, it improves the well being and the over all health of dieters which ultimately leads to weight loss.
Food products that can be consumed according to the maker diet find its origins in the Old Testaments. This gives rise to a number of limitation and guidelines of the maker diet plan
1-The maker diet says that the animal meat that is consumed must be from those creatures whose hooves are split and from those animals who chew cud.
2-The ingestion of pork is restricted to the effect of being forbidden in the Maker Diet.
3- Poultry must only include those birds that are non-scavenging. The Maker diet recommended turkeys, ducks, chickens and guineas. On the other hand, ostrich and emu meat cannot be consumed.
4-According to the maker diet, only those eggs can be consumed that are laid by ducks or chickens.
5-The seafood that is included in the maker diet should essentially have fins as well as scales. That being said, catfish, sharks and shellfish should not be allowed to be consumed.
6-Only those dairy products are permitted on the maker diet plan that are manufactured using goat, cow or sheep’s milk.
The Phases In Maker Diet
There are a number of phases that come under the maker diet. These depend on a number of factors such as state of health, budget as well as time constraints on the part of the dieter.
Phase One In Maker Diet
This phase of the maker diet is stretched over 2 weeks, that is, 14 days. During this phase, the dieter is encouraged to consume high starch products. Legumes are eliminated as are sugar products and dairy products. Organic and free- range poultry is included in this phase along with a large number of vegetables. Nuts, seeds and citrus fruits along with honey as a substitute for sugar is also recommended. During this phase of the maker diet, the dieter must following “Clenzology” which is basically a hygiene program that has to be carried out every morning as well as evenings. Along with this, during the maker diet the dieter must also pray ever morning and evening as well as indulge in physical activity. Vitamin supplements are also encouraged. The dieter must go to bed at about 10:30 pm. The dieter must choose one day of the week during which he does not eat breakfast or lunch.
Phase Two In Maker Diet

The Maker diet encourages the consumption of a number of supplements for the purpose of bringing about a lifestyle change. A certain multivitamin that holds homeostatic nutrients must be consumed by the dieter at least three times on a regular basis. Cod liver oil must also be consumed in the evening. However, the quantity depends on the dieter’s exposure to sunlight during that particular week.
The above basis lay down the basic foundation of the first level of the maker diet. The next level includes the consumption of a number of cleansing drinks during the morning as well as evening. The stage after that includes the process of aromatherapy due to its purification abilities. A supplement of the same nature must also be consumed twice a day on a regular basis during the last stage of the maker diet.
The basic level of the Maker's Diet has been described above. In the intermediate level, morning and evening cleansing drinks are added. In the advanced level, aromatherapy is added, as is a "purification" supplement taken twice daily.
