This vitamin in fruits also plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism. Vitamin B2 is found in Kiwi. Though most of the fruits are not essential sources of this vitamin.

The vitamin has been found to be abundantly present in apple, banana, pear, orange, lemon, plum, strawberry, raspberry, etc. The vitamin plays a role of an antioxidant and thus is extremely important in managing free radicals in our body which are cause of many important diseases in our body. This vitamin in fruits also plays an important role in the formation of collagen, cartilage, blood vessels, etc. The deficiency of vitamin C leads to a condition called scurvy.
